Expansions Christmas 2009-2018
How have things changed since Christmas 2008! We have grown every year since, adding mega trees, mini trees, strobes, leaping arches, vertical columns, computerization, and 102.5 FM. Check out the gallery below to see our expansion progress over the years.
If you look closely, we started out with only one mega tree and 5 mini trees (Christmas 2009-2010). Our first year with strobes on the mega tree was a huge hit (Christmas 2011)! We debuted our first dancing sequence on November 30, 2012: Michael W. Smith's "Christmas Angels." We also expanded from 5 to 12 mini trees and debuted 102.5 FM during Christmas 2012. We have even included a couple of construction photos in the gallery below as we added our second mega tree (Christmas 2013), and then our third mega tree (Christmas 2014). Leaping arches debuted Christmas 2015, with complete computerization of over 200,000 lights debuting for our ✨10th Year Celebration✨ in Christmas 2017. We continued to make it a goal to add one NEW dancing sequence to the show every year, and we were up to 6 dancing sequences by Christmas 2018.
